Denmark’s southernmost Danhostel is called Flensburg Fjord, because it is only a few kilometers from the beautiful fjord, which offers a number of unique and amazing natural experiences.
Flensborg Fjord Danhostel & Annex is a newly renovated youth hostel with 54 double rooms (29 en-suite bath and toilet, 6 with bathrooms located in the hallway and 19 rooms sharing bathroom 2 rooms at a time.).
Flensborg Fjord is housed in the former Rinkenæs Efterskole, so we can offer a number of additional facilities (some require booking), such as:
- Sports hall for 450 people
- Lecture hall for 150 people
- Dining room for 130 people
- Kitchen for 18 people
- 3 meeting rooms for 25 people
- 2 massage rooms and 1 fitness center
- mini Cinema
- 2 football pitches
- Green area with 15 shelters accommodating 45 people
- Outdoor sauna
- Fireplace
In other words, we also have facilities for larger group events. Private as well as Business. We are at the same time in family with the nearby four-star Benniksgaard Hotel, which is only 150 meters from the hostel. The hotel has a café and restaurants as well as a nice farmer shop.
